Why Youth Participation Matters

Public spaces play a vital role in everyday life. They are places where communities connect, cultures meet, and creativity flourishes. However, many urban spaces are designed without considering the needs and perspectives of young people. Youth Re:Build aims to change this by placing youth at the center of urban transformation. When young people are involved in shaping their environments, they bring fresh ideas, innovative solutions, and a strong commitment to sustainability and inclusion. By encouraging dialogue between youth and local decision-makers, the project helps create cities that reflect the needs, aspirations, and diversity of the communities they serve.

Collaborative Workshop

Collaborative workshops bring together young people, local stakeholders, and urban experts to exchange ideas and co-create solutions for better public spaces. Through hands-on activities, design exercises, and open discussions, participants explore how cities can become more inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to community needs.

These workshops create a platform where youth voices are heard and transformed into practical proposals. By combining creativity, collaboration, and dialogue with policymakers, the project helps shape innovative approaches to urban development across Europe.
